Academic roots

Neobiomics was founded at Karolinska Institutet Science Park and was part of the life science incubator DRIVE at Karolinska Institutet during 2022-2023.

Clinical community

Co-founder Stefan Johansson also founded 99nicu, a global community for neonatal clinicians. Neobiomics also partners with GFCNI, representing the voices of patients and parents worldwide.

Multi-strain probiotic

ProPrems®

ProPrems is a multi-strain high quality food supplement containing three defined bacterial strains: B. longum subsp. infantis Bb-02, B. animalis subsp. lactis BB-12® and S. thermophilus TH-4®.

Each individually packaged single portion provides a total of 1 billion CFU.

ProPrems is manufactured in Europe under controlled processes with defined product specifications and quality controls and is stability-tested throughout its 2-year shelf life.

NeoMega36®

A food for special medical purposes (FSMP) enriched with ARA and DHA, supporting the development of normal vision function in preterm infants.

Helps reducing the “preterm PUFA gap” and aligns with ESPGHAN’s enteral nutrition guidance.

NeoMega36 is supported by academic research in the Nordics. It is developed and manufactured in Europe under strict quality control.
