International Women’s Day

Today, the 8th of March is International Women’s Day. Our team consists of almost 67% Women. We see this day as a way to acknowledge all women’s achievements, recognize the challenges, stand up for gender equality, and focus on supporting women’s rights in society.

In Berlin, as we see today the officials have chosen to promote gender equality and with that in mind the 8th of March is an official holiday. This is a great statement that asserts the importance of International women’s day.

For us as a team in Neobiomics, we acknowledge and appreciate this day, to keep the discussion on gender inequality relevant for society to progress in the question. It’s not enough to look back and see what we have accomplished, we need to continuously take action and work toward equality because there is still a long way left until we get there. We continue our work to make a difference for future generations to live in a more diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accepting society than we do.

With that being said, I would like to conclude this post with one of my favorite quotes:

“Feminism isn’t about making women strong. Women are already strong. It’s about changing the way the world perceives that strength”
